Contacting the Shelter

Dogs featured on this site are available for adoption through Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation, located at:

     3839 Bradshaw Road
     Sacramento, CA 95827
     (1 mile south of Hwy 50 between Goethe and Kiefer) 


Shelter Hours:

     Wednesday-Friday 12:30-5:30
     Saturday and Sunday 12 Noon-4:30
     Closed Mondays and Tuesdays and most holidays

Live operators available M-F, 7am-6pm Recorded message, 24 hours a day.

Adoption fees are $121 for male dogs and $147 for female dogs. This fee includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and registration (for Sacramento County residents not residing in the city of Sacramento).

The shelter often has adoption specials, which they post on their website.
